Hey, Welcome to the new How to Guide from Techno Planners. Today in this tutorial we will show you how to Install Android 5.1 Lollipop on Any PC or Laptop along with windows, dual boot – Android Lollipop with Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10, Linux / MAC operating system.

Pre-Requesting

• 1 USB Flash Drive or Bootable CD/DVD.
• 4GB Free Hard Disk Space for Android installation.
• Android x86 5.1 Lollipop ISO File. Download it from below
• Rufus to create bootable USB thumb drive.

Install Android 5.1 On PC with Windows

Step 1. By using Rufus application, Make a bootable USB flash drive using the ISO image file that you downloaded from below.

Step 2: After that, Restart your PC or Laptop via USB flash drive as the source. (Make USB to boot first and before CD/DVD ROM under your system’s BIOS settings)

Step 3: Now, When the menu appears, just select Install Android x86 to hard disk. You can also Run it As a Live Cd which means that if any changes made, they will not be saved. But if you install it then any changes that you make will be saved next time you boot android.

Step 4: Select your appropriate hard disk partition to install Android x86 or you can install on any new partition.

Step 5: Now, You will get a prompts messages to installation of GRUB Bootloader. Make sure to hit on yes.

Step 6: Now, another prompt message will ask you to make system /r/w. Hit Yes on this.

Step 6: After that, you will get another prompt to install internal space. Use 2047 MB for space, as that’s the maximum supported.

Step 7: Now, You can Restart your PC / Laptops. After Reboot.

Congratulations!! You have successfully installed Android 5.1 Lollipop on Your Desktop PC/Laptop.

In our Previous Tutorials we shown you that How you can install Android Lollipop on any PC with Linux, Mac or Windows (Dual Boot). Now, today in this Tutorial we will Show you How you can install Android 5.1 Lollipop on any Windows PC using Android x86 Easy Installer with Dual boot.

Android x86 Easy Installer will let you install Android x86 on your PC like any other application, no risk to Damage HDD Partitions, Boot Data or User Data. The best thing about the Android x86 installer is that we can create internal storage from 2GB(Min.) to 32GB(Max.).

Requirements:

• Android ISO
• Androidx86 Installer (Dowload from Below)
• Windows Boot Manager/NTLDR as default Boot Manager
• Windows Vista/7/8 32-bit or 64-bit
• NET Framework 4

How To Install Android 5.1 using Android x86 Easy Installer

1. Download Android 5.1 ISO - http://bit.ly/1QxSchE from Below Link
2. Launch the Installer
3. Select the downloaded ISO file
   
4. Select the partition which Android will be installed to. (Drive C, D, E)
5. Select “User Data Max. Size” which will store download Apps and User Settings
6. Click Install and wait about 5 min.

Note: Installation time depends on “User Data Max. Size” may be more than 10 min with 32GB

How To Uninstall Android 5.1:

1. Start->Control Panel ->Programs and Features
2. Select Android and click on “Uninstall”
3. Just press any key and wait until screen disappear

Know Issues:
EFI Not Supported
Not Work if GRUB is the default bootloader

Notes:-
Can be installed Android on “USB Disk” or “SD Card”
Android can be insalled on Windows partition (Drive C: ) without problem

Pre-Requesting

• 2 USB Flash Drive Minimium 4 GB or Portable HDD and 1 USB Flash Drive
• 4GB Free Hard Disk Space for Android installation.
• Android x86 5.1 Lollipop ISO File. Download it from below
• Rufus Boot Maker

How to Install Android 5.1 On USB Drive or HDD with Dual Boot

1. By Using Rufus, Make a bootable USB flash drive using the ISO image file that you downloaded.
2. After that, Restart your PC and boot it from Flash Drive. (Make sure USB to boot first under your system’s BIOS settings)
3. Now, From the list just Select Install Android x86 to hard disk.
4. Connect your second pendrive/HDD then Select your USB/Hard Disk partition to install it.
   
5. In next step, it will ask for format, You can format the USB drive to ext3 or ext2 partition to get more internal storage or can be select "Do not format".
6.  Now, You will get a prompts messages to installation of GRUB Bootloader. Make sure to hit on yes.
   
   
   
7. Now, another prompt message will ask you to make system /r/w. Hit Yes on this.

9. Restart Your PC
